Sometimes we experience an event that we just don't seem to get over. It could be a violent assault, car accident, being bullied as a child or adult or a marital break up. we experienced the event as life threatening either literally or psychologically.

What to expect
The goal of the first several sessions is to help you feel safe and a little more grounded. I will ask you questions about yourself, do some relaxation exercises and discuss several approaches to find the best fit for you. It's important that you feel safe with coping and containment strategies in place before we move to the next level of processing your trauma. The amount of time this takes depends on the individual.
