The biggest game changer for managing your destructive anger is recognizing that you're getting stressed early enough that your thinking, problem solving part of your brain is still online and you do something different. Something different like in; remove yourself from the situation, reframe the meaning, use a calming strategy, self talk, or rename it to tame it technique. This is where we start by getting a handle on the physiological and situational anger manifesting triggers. From here we explore the meaning behind the triggers. Self beliefs. Learned responses. Treatment is usually between four - eight sessions.
